24th Annual Oak Park & River Forest Garden Walk 

Experience an inspiring day at the 24th annual Garden Walk on Sunday, June 25th!  Sponsored by the Garden Club of Oak Park and River Forest and Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory this self-guided tour throughout our beautiful villages features nine fabulous gardens and a cooperative community space.  The day is designed for the whole family to enjoy and kids under 12 are free. Ride bikes, bring a picnic and enjoy the gardens of Cheney Mansion.  Watch a sculptor create near Cheney’s greenhouse, drop by the Art League’s outdoor exhibit or view artists painting in gardens while gathering great ideas for your own spaces.

TICKET PRICE: $15 in advance   $20 event day,  Children 12 and under free

RAFFLE: Raffle tickets available day of Walk at Cheney MansionOak Park Conservatory, and Garden at 1114 Forest Avenue, River Forest. $5 for one and $20 for 5. Winner need not be present.  Complete information on items on Facebook site. Raffles are:  $150 Gift Certificate and a $50 pair of professional pruners from Care of Trees, a Davey Company; $200 value for design and potting a Fall/Winter planter from Kiave Design LLC (winner to supply container);  $100 value Tree Walk Kids Game supplied by The Learning Gardens of Oak Park; and, a $150 value plant and gift certificate from Garland Flowers

Complementary events: Oak Park Art League Carriage House Exhibit “Peer Pressure” and Courtyard Exhibit “Resistance Architecture;” Plein Air painters creating art work in selected gardens; Cheney Mansion Open for picnics and Sculptor Michael Vest demonstration
