Thanks to Stephanie Walquist of West Cook Wild Ones for a terrific presentation on butterfly gardening — she clearly knows way more than she could pack into an hour. And now I feel even more justified in not doing any fall clean-up.

Some pictures from last Wednesday’s meeting at Cheney Mansion, again from Elaine Allen. We had Theresa McGuire-Hester of Garland Flowers speak to us on fall flower arrangements. Tracey Schroeder won the coveted pumpkin centerpiece in the raffle. Like the generous person she is, she donated the treasure to Elaine Allen since Tracey’s house has some construction going on.
