October’s program, What Locally Grown Honey can do for You is presented by Gregg Walter.

Often discussed, but frequently not known, are the health benefits of locally-grown honey. Not only can you find iron in that dollop of sweetness you add to your tea, but a whole host of other nutrients. We’ll discuss facts and myths plus many other uses for honey.

Members that would like to volunteer to use their creativity to design and set up the centerpieces and refreshments should contact the Nomination Committee Chair, Kathy English, gcnews@gcoprf.org.
