2019 Member’s Tea

While planning the Garden Club August Tea, we were struck by the fact that so many members of the club are so creative. Member’s creativity has been expressed through many aspects of gardening, flower arranging, garden hats, and photography. Please consider sharing one of your creative expressions with us at the August Tea. The full range of creative expressions are welcome, from art to music to writing. Your creativity may be expressed in an exceptional garden planning method, a poem, a photograph, a story about getting inspired or inspiring someone to garden, needlework, or a song. Anything gardening related that you think others my find interesting will inspire us all to find our inner creativity. Please let Joan Meister know if you will be inspiring us with your creativity. An Evite was sent to all members on July 15, 2019. Please check your email, RSVP, and sign up for a contribution. Due to space constraints there is a limit of 40 members for the August Tea.

Review
The annual Tea Party was a great success. The weather had a slight threat of rain, but held off until after the back yard party. We had the pleasure of sharing in some of the members creative pursuits, including home crafted fairy garden structures, a unique garden theme art book “How Does Your Garden Grow” by Mary, and original poetry.

We enjoyed Todd & Holland tea with a wonderful assortment of food. This was a wonderful low key afternoon, with great conversations.
