2021-2022 Awards

The Garden Club of Oak Park and River Forest received two awards at the 95th Garden Clubs of Illinois Annual Convention on April 25, 2022.

2022 Garden Clubs of Illinois Award
First Place for Planting for Pollinators Award (#47C) for the “Milkweed for Monarchs” Project that the club did for the 2021 ‘Year of the Butterfly’ statewide initiative. The award won $50 for the club. Thank you to all who participated.

2022 National Garden Clubs Award
Certificate of Merit in recognition of the Garden Club of Oak Park and River Forest’s 105th Anniversary.

2019-2020 Awards
Seven awards were applied for, all forms and paperwork were completed. The award packets included color pictures of the club’s efforts at OPAL, Garden Therapy and the Garden Walk.The Awards were:

#47A Butterfly Sustentation Award (OPAL garden)
#60 Club Year Book Award
#64 Naperville Garden Club Scholarship Award
