The Garden Club of Oak Park and River Forest always welcomes guests and new members. Members from all communities are welcome.

Monthly program with demonstrations and presentations on gardening, floral arranging, and environmental topics.

Newsletter sent to members with club information and gardening ideas.

Informal gathering in member’s yards with our “Friday with Flowers” events.

Full day and half day group trips to garden related destinations.

Annual luncheon and a member’s (and invited guests) tea.

Community engagement opportunities with our annual Garden Walk, which provides scholarships for Oak Park River Forest High School seniors who plan to study horticulture, botany, and environmental fields.

Opportunities to give back to your community through our Art Therapy for seniors program and our civic beautification community garden work, such as the Oak Park Art League garden.

Membership in Garden Clubs of Illinois, Inc. with a subscription to Garden Glories magazine and opportunities to participate in workshops, educational, and leadership events.

Join us at our Monthly Meeting


We meet in person at the historic Cheney Mansion in Oak Park, Illinois on the second Wednesday of the month, October through April, except January and February.  The meeting starts at 12:00 PM with a social hour with light refreshments.  There is a brief business meeting before the one hour presentation which starts at 1:00 PM. Parking is available on the street.  All are welcome to our free monthly meetings.
