 68th Annual Spring Luncheon – May 4, 2016   11:00 am – 2:00 pm features beautiful floral/plant raffle items, delicious food and an outstanding floral designer demonstration. Advance reservations required for members and their guests.

Members Tea:  June 1, 2016 1:00-3:00  Maximum 40 members only due to space limitation.  Reservations instructions will be sent via evite on Tuesday, May 17.

Garden Walk – June 26, 2016   10 am – 4 pm  An annual garden walk in the villages of Oak Park and River Forest is co-sponsored by the Garden Club of Oak Park River Forest and the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory (FOPCON) Further information and on-line ticket purchase here: Garden Walk 2016 Tickets  Open to the public.

Regular meetings of the Garden Club of Oak Park River Forest will resume in September.

Oak Park & River Forest Garden Walk June 28, 2015

The 22nd annual Garden Walk co-sponsored by the Garden Club of OPRF and Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.    Plan to enjoy the entire day.  In addition to the nine private gardens, visitors are invited to view the Anne Smedinghoff Memorial Garden at the River Forest Library. Pre-order a pre-paid Whole Foods box lunch below for pick up at Cheney Mansion and enjoy listening to the Oak Park River Forest high school musicians and see the sculptor in the Cheney Green House.  You may also bring your own picnic to enjoy on the beautiful Cheney estate gardens.  Cookies and lemonade provided to all.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the walk.    Tickets for the garden walk are available for purchase here.   Children under 12 are free.  Tickets are available  at the Oak Park Conservatory (FOPCON members receive a discount), the Oak Park Visitors Bureau and Westgate Flower and Plant shop or available by cash or credit card the day of the event at Cheney Mansion, 220 N. Euclid, Oak Park or with cash or check at the Oak Park Conservatory at 615 Garfield, Oak Park.  To purchase tickets on the day of the event you will need to park your car and walk to the purchase table outside at Cheney or inside at Oak Park Conservatory.

On the day of the event you must bring your ticket or Paypal receipt to exchange it at the curb at Cheney or the Conservatory for the garden guides that are required for admission to the gardens.  The garden guides contain a map, and a description of each garden.
